Inspired by Goya’s El Aquelarre (The Witches’ Sabbath) – famously associated with rebellion, transgression, the reality of persecution and the power of ritual. Four women artists living in London reflect on the fragility and preciousness of nature and respond to this unprecedented period of drastic change and uncertainty.

Walthamstow Wetlands is Europe’s largest urban wetlands and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Over 50 varieties of wildflowers have been recorded there and so it is fitting to be hosting Anna’ s latest exhibition “Spring Awakening”: from Wednesday 2 March until 28 April in the locally-listed Engine House.

November 2017. Commissioned to screenprint pre-prepared graphics of history of Walthamstow Wetlands onto Coppermill walls. I researched and created a 5 metre linocut showing the history of the Coppermill stream, this was screenprinted under the timeline.

Exhibition of linocuts at Bankside Gallery, London.
LOOP has been presenting the best in new printmaking through annual exhibitions since 2005. The 2017 exhibition featured recent work from internationally exhibiting artists, founders of print studios and recent Camberwell College MA Printmaking graduates who use traditional and cutting-edge technologies to push print as an art form. Bankside is the Gallery of the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS), and the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (RE). Its vibrant exhibitions celebrate the very best in contemporary water-based media and original print, championing the work of both new and established artists.

Commissioned to screenprint the historical timeline text and graphic images on the walls of the Coppermill entrance lobby describing the 1000 year history of the largest urban nature reserve in Europe. Research and create a 5 metre linocut telling the story of the Walthamstow Wetlands and Linocuts made into screenprints and printed onto the wall under the timeline.
